I began my career as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) in 1996 after earning my AAS degree from Lake Superior College in Duluth, MN. I then moved to Bismarck and started working in a private outpatient physical therapy clinic. In 2000, I joined a local hospital where I started working in their physical therapy department for the next 16 years primarily in the outpatient setting. In 2011, I became Postural Restoration Certified (PRC). I am currently the only PTA in North Dakota certified in Postural Restoration(PRI). I recognize postural asymmetries using a "full body" approach addressing issues from head to toe. I also specialize in making proper footwear recommendation and modifying shoes as well as making custom foot orthotics. My goal is always to improve overall health of our patients and to help them regain function and mobility
to optimize their quality of life without having pain!
On a more personal note, I enjoy relaxing and fishing at Lake Sakakawea during the summer months. I also enjoy spending time gardening
and working on yard projects.
