We attempt to take out as much of the “insurance hassle” as possible for our patients.  We contact your insurance company to verify your coverage of benefits, explain your coverage while you are in our office, and bill your insurance company for you.  Please remember, benefits quoted to us by your insurance company are not a guarantee of payment.  We encourage you as the insured to know your benefits and coverage.  As your health care provider our relationship is with you, and our priority is your health.  

We are a network provider with many insurance companies to help accommodate our patient’s needs.  You will notice that we are in network with Medicare of ND, Medicaid of ND, BCBS, Sanford and 50+ other insurance companies.  

Our relationship is with you, our patient, and not with your insurance company.  This said at the time service is rendered any unpaid balance is ultimately your responsibility and must be paid in a timely manner.  In courtesy to you, we do not mail a statement until insurance has processed your date of service. We do understand that at times financial difficulties can arise.  Please contact us promptly so that we can assist in managing your account balance.  It is our policy that if no contact has been made on an account balance that is past due for over 3 months we will utilize a collection agency.  

 

 

Motor Vehicle, Workman’s compensation claims, and personal injury cases:

After you have notified your Auto insurance carrier, or your employer, of your case they will provide you with a claim number.  Please bring your claim number and any contact information regarding agent or advocate with you to your first appointment.  We will work with you and our advocate to arrange payment of your care.  Although you are ultimately responsible for services you receive in our office, we will wait for settlement of your claim for up to three months after your care has completed.  Once the claim is settled, or if you suspend or terminate care, any fees remaining are due immediately.  

 

No insurance option:

If you are uninsured or underinsured with high deductibles, we offer 15% time of service discounts for our chiropractic care.  Payment is due at the time services are rendered.  We accept cash, checks, MasterCard, Visa, and Discover Card.
