My passion for occupational therapy started at a young age. I knew I wanted to find a job in healthcare where I could help others, develop relationships with people, and also get to show my creative/ fun side. Occupational therapy does all that! It’s truly such an amazing career that focuses on helping people achieve, maintain, or regain meaningful skills so that they can be the most independent and functional in their daily lives.

I started my occupational therapy career after graduating from the University of Mary in 2018. I then accepted a job working at Trinity Health in Minot, where I served in their outpatient therapy department working primarily with kids while also filling in their acute care and inpatient rehab facilities. I then transitioned to Kids in Motion in Mandan, where I deepened my care and skills in the areas of autism, ADHD, oppositional defiant disorder, anxiety disorders, developmental delays, picky eating, and sensory processing disorders. Although I have primarily specialized in pediatrics, I began to miss seeing patients across the lifespan and am very interested in joining Focus to enhance my skills working with various diagnoses and post operative patients within the geriatric population!

When I’m not in the clinic, I am seen spending my days with my husband and two kids in Underwood. We make frequent trips to my family farm in Mott, ND and help with ranching operations. I love to go fishing, camping, hiking and walking, playing volleyball, gardening, and throwing darts.
